The library of the CEAlex is specialised in all fields of research concerning Alexandria from antiquity to the present day. It also holds general and specific works on the Graeco-Roman era. The catalogue lists some 7700 titles (monographs and articles), of which 1300 are about Alexandria and Graeco-Roman Egypt, sourced from periodicals, conference papers and collective works. |

Access to the works All works can be consulted in the Reading Room, capacity of 15 places. Borrowing for a maximum of 1 week only is restricted to persons residing in Alexandria who must fill in the Lending Register. Photocopies are permitted. Ask the reception personnel of the CEAlex. |
